Jim Lovelady - Senior Managing Partner
Jim Lovelady, founder of Demand Dynamix, brings executive sales & marketing management experience with the past 14 years focused on selling SaaS and licensed software including email marketing, web analytics, mobile, CRM, and social media integration.
Prior to Demand Dynamix, Jim was senior vice president of sales at Lyris Technologies, Inc., an integrated email marketing and web analytics SaaS provider.
Jim has also worked a number of start-ups in his career. He was vice president of retail sales for Cellfire, a mobile application provider where he created and closed dozens of new business opportunities with major brand-name clients including JCPenney, Best Buy, Payless ShoeSource, GameStop, Sears, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Arby's, NBC Universal, Caribou Coffee, and many others.
In addition, his experience includes sales & marketing leadership positions at several digital marketing solutions start-ups including Zustek, Yesmail, and Digital Impact. Jim began his sales career with General Electric where he also earned his certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Cleary University and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Ken Karnes - Managing Partner
Ken Karnes has broad experience leading sales & marketing and business development teams with both large and start-up companies. He possesses a deep knowledge of business growth practices that he uses to assist marketers in finding new and innovative ways to drive brusiness that produces remarkable results. Ken has worked with many of the largest businesses in retail, consumer packaged goods, and restaurant industries providing integrated media solutions and omni-channel consultation.
Ken is a leader in his knowledge of sales process, client value creation, relationship building and account management. His knowledge has been garnered through his tenure in leadership positions at companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, Valassis, WorkPlace Media, and Cellfire, an early stage mobile marketing company
A native of Southern California, Ken holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Redlands and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He and his family reside in Connecticut.
Phil Gundry - Managing Partner
Phil Gundry is our Marketing Automation guru. He joins Demand Dynamix from Act-On Software (our Marketing Automation platform of choice). While at Act-On, Phil facilitated the successful implementation and optimization of the Act-On platform by hundreds of B2B and B2C companies, in a wide variety of industries ranging from tech to trucking to food services.
In addition, Phil helped build the Act-On Agency Partner Program from the ground up, working directly with marketing agency partners to increase adoption, improve retention, and maximize ROI for all parties.
Prior to Act-On, Phil built and led the internet sales department at a Sacramento Subaru Mazda dealership, and was a panelist on "the Future of Digital Marketing" at the Subaru National Training Conference in 2013.
Originally from Big Sur, CA, Phil received his BA in International Relations, from the University of California at Davis.
